I took over the Coffee Shop in October 2017 not expecting what the next 3 1/2 years would bring me!
Previous roles including customer service and hospitality have only added to the development of the business.

Ellen Miller Manager
Ellen has worked at Sophias for seven years. With experience of working on cruise ships and cabin crew on the airlines this makes her an invaluable member of our Team and working with the public. Ellen admits she knows many of the customers by first names.
In Ellens words : "We have a great Team with a professional fun atmosphere”. This makes Ellen my right hand Woman and go to person !
Livvy Godwin
Livvy started with us at the start of September and splits her time between us and Nottingham Trent University to study Primary Teaching.
Her lively and cheeky personality brings so much fun to every shift she works!
She always brings the party animal to our staff parties and we can all have a laugh with her!
Aimee Lloyd
Aimee started with us 3 years ago as a Saturday girl and changed to full time during her gap year for the last year. She recently started university to study Psychology and pops in to help when she can!
She shares her time between
Sophias and being an ice skater for Great Britain bringing the same amount of energy in life to the Sophias Team

Oli Welbourn
Oli is our newest team member and the first male to work with us at team Sophia's!
We dont know if he was employed for his avid support for Nottingham Forest (COYRs!!!) or his monotone enthusiasm :)
Karen Maddison
Karen has been with us for nearly a year now and she brings the organisation to us all! She previously worked at Blue Diamond Garden Centre as well as working locally throughout her life.
